All the unorganized gig workers involved in food delivery in organizations like Swiggy, Zomato and e-commerce organizations like Amazon, Plifkart, BigBasket, Porter, Pharmacy, Blinkit, Zepto, Big Basket, Domino’s etc. will benefit from this scheme.

Labour department insurance Yojana 2024: Who is eligible to apply?
All unorganized gig workers engaged in food delivery in organizations like Swiggy, Zomato and e-commerce organizations like Amazon, Plifkart, BigBasket, Porter, Pharmacy, Blinkit, Zepto, Big Basket, Domino’s etc. are eligible for insurance under this scheme.
Applicant’s age should be between 18 to 60.
Should not be Income Tax(IT) payer.
Provident Fund and ESI should not be beneficiaries.

life insurance- how much insurance to get under this plan?
In case of death of the beneficiary due to accident, insurance compensation of Rs.2.00 lakhs and life insurance of Rs.2.00 lakhs together total Rs.4.00 lakhs.
Up to Rs.2.00 lakhs Hospital Expense Reimbursement upto Rs.1.00 lakhs (only for accident cases) Life Insurance Rs.2.00 lakhs in case of permanent disability due to accident.
