There is a good news for the farmers. Mainly the purpose of this project is to financially strengthen the farmers involved in Animal Husbandry, the Financial Services Department of the Government of India has proposed to provide this loan facility at a low interest rate through nationalized banks/cooperatives.

Key Information of Kisan Credit Card:

Under this Kisan Credit Card Loan scheme, the interest discount facility is available up to Rs.3 lakhs. And the government is giving every farmer a chance to get a loan facility of Rs.10 lakh.

Also, another important point is that 2% interest subsidy is available for the loan taken from Kisan Credit Card, if this loan is repaid, the loan facility of 3% interest subsidy per year can also be availed under this scheme. Farmers can get a total interest discount of 5% from the government of India on the interest rate of the loans they get from the banks.

How much loan will all units get under this Kisan Credit Card Scheme? How much is the interest? What is the maximum limit? Let’s find out about it.

Dairy Farming:

For the maintenance of crossbred cattle, there is a maximum loan facility of Rs 18,000 per cow i.e. Rs 36,000 for two (1+1) cows.

Also for improved management of buffaloes (1+1): Maximum Rs 21,000 per buffalo, Rs 42,000 for two buffaloes.

Sheep farming:

29,950 for grazing sheep for maintenance of 10+1 sheep for 8 months of rearing period. A loan facility of 14,700 rupees will be given to the sheep grazing in the fields and plains.

– 57,200 for grazing sheep for maintenance of 20+1 lambs for 8 months rearing period. A loan facility of Rs 28,200 will be given to the sheep grazing in the fields and fields.

– Rs 13,120 for fattening 10 lambs. Rs 26,200 as loan facility for fattening of 20 lambs.

Goat Farming:

Management of Goats (10+1) (8 months rearing period):
29,250 rupees for grazing goats and 14,700 rupees for open grazing goats.

Also (20+1) (8 months breeding period):
Loan facility of Rs 57,200 for grazing goats and Rs 28,200 for open grazing goats

Pig Farming:

Farming of 10 fattening pigs: Loan facility of Rs.60,000 has been given.

Chicken Farming (Chicken Farming):

Broiler Farming (Rs. 80 for 1 chicken):
The government will give a maximum loan of 80,000 rupees for 1000 chickens.

Egg Poultry Farming (Rs. 180 for 1 hen):
The government will give a maximum loan of 1,80,000 rupees for 1000 chickens.

Rabbit Forming:

Rabbit Farming (50+1): Loan up to Rs 50,000 maximum.
