This PMAY project is providing financial help to many more families in the country to build houses. The central government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) with the aim of providing affordable housing to all the poor. For the first time, the government of India will providing a subsidy of Rs 2.67 lakhs to buying a house under this PMAY schemes. Due to this economically low people can be take a buy to build their dream house. This scheme was first introduced on 1st June 2015. Loans are available under this scheme at an interest rate of 6.50% per annum.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban PMAY

Loans are available under this scheme at an interest rate of 6.50% per annum. The central government has extended the deadline for availing benefits under the PMAY scheme till 31st December 2024.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin Yojana was earlier known as Indira Gandhi Awas Yojana. The name was changed in March 2016.

Eligibility or Conditions:

The following condition for using PMAY scheme is that candidates are allowed to apply only once. If you are providing a with wrong information, applicants will not be able to avail all the benefits of this scheme. You should apply very carefully. Under the PMAY scheme, all the beneficiaries will only get Rs. 6.50 interest rate housing loan for 20 years. Houses on the ground floor are reserved for the disabled and senior citizens only, sustainable, eco-friendly technology is used in the construction of the houses. The scheme is applicable to all rural and urban areas of the country. The project is being implemented in urban areas in three phases
