The Karnataka Savitha Samaja Abhivrudhi Nigama (Savitha Samaja Development Corporation) invites online applications for various schemes in the financial year 2023-24. Eligible beneficiaries may submit their applications.

Applicants must belong to the Savitha community or its sub-castes as per Government Order No: Sakai/225/BC/A1/2000 dated 30/03/2002. Along with necessary documents, eligible applicants can submit their applications on the Seva Sindhu portal.

Savitha Samaja Abhivrudhi Nigama Loan Schemes

Schemes available for online application:

1. Self-Employment Direct Loan Scheme
2. Ganga Kalyana Scheme. This scheme requires a minimum of 1 acre of land in districts of South Kanara, Udupi, Kodagu, North Kanara, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, and Hassan. In other districts, a minimum of 2 acres is required.
3. Education Loan for Skill Development (New)
4. Foreign Study Loan Scheme for higher education in foreign universities.
5. Entrepreneur Sarathi Scheme
6. Self-Employment Commercial Loan Scheme (with support from commercial banks)

General Eligibility Criteria for Application:

Applicants must be permanent residents of Karnataka State. To avail benefits in Corporation’s schemes, applicants must belong to Savitha or its sub-castes as per Government Order No: Sakai/225/BC/A1/2000 dated 30/03/2002. Caste and income certificates in prescribed format are mandatory. Age should be between 18 and 55 years. Previous beneficiaries of any Government scheme under the Corporation are not eligible. Benefits will be extended to one person per family. For Skill Development schemes, age should be between 18 and 30 years, with an annual income of Rs. 3.50 lakhs. For Entrepreneur Sarathi Scheme, applicants must be above 21 years and below 45 years. Applicants must link their mobile number and bank account to their Aadhaar number.

Annual income of the applicant’s family should be Rs. 98,000 for rural areas and Rs. 1,20,000 for urban areas. For foreign university education, the annual income limit is Rs. 8 lakhs.

During selection, 33% reservation is provided for women, 5% for differently-abled, and 1% for third gender.
