Invitation to Apply for Free Gas under Ujjwala Scheme:

The Prime Minister’s Ujwala Scheme was launched in May 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It provides free LPG connections in the name of women from below poverty line (BPL) families. Women above 18 years of age belonging to BPL families who do not have an LPG connection in their home can benefit from the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.

Criteria for Ujwala Scheme:

1. The applicant must be a woman.
2. The woman’s age must be above 18 years.
3. She must belong to a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
4. She must possess a BPL card and a ration card.

1. BPL Certificate issued by Municipal Chairman or Panchayat Head
2. Caste Certificate
3. Passport-sized Photograph

How To Apply Online for Ujjwala Yojana 2023

1. Visit the official website https://www.pmuy.gov.in/.
2. Click on the option to apply for PMUY.
3. Select one of the three oil companies (HP, Indian, Bharat Gas) and proceed.
4. Enter your details such as name, address, mobile number, etc.
5. Upload the necessary documents.
6. Finally, submit your application after selecting the application category.
