Applications are invited from all categories of unemployed youth and women through online to get loan facility for manufacturing and service units under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) of the Indian Government for the year 2024.

To get out of the problem of unemployment which is increasing day by day, rural and urban youths can avail financial assistance and loan subsidy under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme (PMEGP) to start self-employment.

For self-employed persons setting up industrial units in town, city and rural areas, the bank can provide loans up to 50 lakhs and maximum subsidy of 25% to 35% under this scheme.

Under this scheme, more than 250 enterprises like cow, sheep, goat, buffalo, chicken, duck, turkey, fish farming, hotel and other enterprises are getting loan subsidy.

Scheme (PMEGP yojana):

The Central Government launched the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme (PMEGP) on 15 August 2008 to provide financial assistance to unemployed youth and women of all sections of the country to start self-employment. Under this scheme, those setting up business units in town, city and rural areas will be given a maximum loan of 50.00 lakhs from the bank and a maximum subsidy of 25% to 35%. Cows, sheep, goats, buffaloes, chickens, ducks, turkeys, fish farms, hotels and more than 250 other businesses are eligible for loan assistance.
