Micro credit scheme is being organized by Mahila Self Help Society to encourage group activity among women to start income generating production or service units. “Self-help groups with at least 10 women will be assisted to become self-employed and engage in good income-generating economic activities to become financially self-reliant.”
Micro Credit Prerana Scheme 2023 Information:
- Name of Scheme: Micro Credit (Incentive) Scheme
- Subsidy Amount: Unit cost Rs.2.50 lakh, Rs. 1.50 lakh as subsidy and Rs. 1 lakh loan facility
- Applicant Age: Above 21 years
Features of Micro Credit Incentive Scheme:
25,000 per member of Self Help Group having at least 10 women members. A total amount of Rs.2.50 lakh will be sanctioned by the Corporation.
Out of unit cost under micro credit scheme per beneficiary Rs. 15 thousand subsidy and Rs. 10 thousand will be the loan amount.
The loan amount has to be repaid to the corporation in 30 equal installments at an interest rate of 4%.

Who can apply?
- Candidates belonging to the following communities can apply for the Micro Credit (Incentive) Scheme.
- Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Development Corporation,
- Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation,
- Karnataka Team Development Corporation,
- Karnataka Adijambava Development Corporation,
- Karnataka State Safai Karmachari Development Corporation,
- Nomadic Development Corporation of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
How to apply for Micro Credit Prerana Scheme 2023?
Eligible candidates can apply online through Seva Sindhu portal along with necessary documents, application submission link is provided.
Applications are invited for Swavalambi Sarathi Yojana for Economic Development of Scheduled Castes in the year 2023-2024. Online application will be available soon.

Aspirants who want to get facility under Govt Institutional Quota and Board Quota can also apply through Seva Sindhu Portal.
Application should be submitted within the specified date. Later applications will not be considered.
Aspirants can apply at ‘GramaOne’, ‘BengaluruOne’, ‘KarnatakaOne’ centres.
Rules:
Mahila Self Help Society should be selected by Selection Committee.
The annual income of the family of the self help society applicant should not exceed Rs.1.50 lakh in rural areas and Rs.2 lakh in urban areas.
Sanction can be canceled at any stage if the sanctioned beneficiary of the Self Help Society is found to be ineligible.
