Position:
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 505 post
Salary range: Rs. 41,130 to Rs. 72,920
Education and Eligibility: Any recognized university/institution must have a B.E / (accredited by AICTE) B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electronics and Electronics Engineering or AMIE. (Part-A and B Electrical) Pass in Examination.

• Assistant Engineer (Civil): 28 post
• Salary range: Rs. 41,130 to Rs. 72,920
• Academic Qualification: Any recognized University / Institution (accredited by AICTE) should have a BE / B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE. (Part-A and B Civil) Pass in Examination.

• Junior Engineer (Electrical): 570 post
• Salary range: Rs. 26,270 to Rs. 65,020
• Educational Qualification: Should be a Diploma holder in Electrical or Electronics and Electronics Engineering from the Karnataka Technical Education Board, attending Polytechnic, Karnataka State.

• Junior Engineer (Civil): 29 post
• Salary range: Rs. 26,270 to Rs. 65,020
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should be eligible for Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Karnataka Technical Education Board, attending Polytechnic of Karnataka State.

• Younger Assistant: 360 post
• Salary range: Rs. 20,220 to Rs. 51,640
• Academic Eligibility: Passing the Secondary PUC Exam conducted by the Department of Undergraduate Education or the 12th Class Examination conducted by the CBSC and ISC Examination Boards.

KPTCL Recruitment 2022 Eligibility:

Age Limit: Candidates are assigned a minimum of 18 years on the last date for applying, a maximum of 35 years for general category candidates, a maximum of 38 years for backward class candidates, a maximum age of 40 years for candidates belonging to SC / ST / Category I candidates.

Selection Procedure: Appointment to Assistant Engineer (Electrical / Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical / Civil), Junior Assistant posts will be selected on the basis of merit earned on the aptitude test. (The aptitude test is a 2-hour test of 100 points of the material multiple-choice method. The aptitude test is conducted by the Karnataka Testing Authority on an op-line OMR model with 1 mark for each question.
