The Karnataka Government has successfully launched the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2021-22 on the 7th -08-2021 initiative to provide scholarships to the children of farmers’ family members. In this scheme scholarships amounting is Rs 2500 to Rs, 11000 will be given to the children of farmers’ family members, who are studying their higher education. The amount of Rs 2500 to Rs, 11000 of the scholarship will be transferred directly into any bank account of the beneficiary (Students) through the direct benefit transfer mode. This program ensures that each & every student of Karnataka state will get higher education.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai has announced the extension of the Farmers’ Vidya Nidhi Scholarship Scheme on 11th April 2022.
