The state government has created several development schemes in 2007 by framing rules for career development of construction and other workers. Building and other construction workers act 1996 has been implemented in the country with the objective of the welfare of construction workers. 3000 per month is directly credited to the account of construction workers under these labor schemes. Below is the complete information about it.

Eligibility Requirements to Apply:

Every registered building or other construction labor beneficiary must have completed 60 years of age.
A registered construction worker must have continued as a beneficiary of the Board for at least 03 years continuously before attaining the age of 60 years.

• Original Identity Card issued by the Board
• Employment Confirmation Letter
• Life Certificate
• Copy of Ration Card
• Photocopy of Beneficiary’s Bank Pass Book
• Passport photo

How to Apply to get Rs 3000 labour card holders:

Step 1: First, visit the official website ( link is given below) of the government, for that click here.

Step 2: Then on the next page click on the Schemes option at the bottom.
Step 3: Then click here on the Pension Facility option, read the complete information given there, download and fill the application form.

Step 4: Then, attach the said necessary documents.

Step 5: The application and documents should be submitted to the nearest Labor Department officials.

Step 6: The submitted application is scrutinized by the Registrar/Senior Labor Inspector.

Step 7: Then, approval is obtained from the Assistant Labor Commissioner.

After verifying the application submitted by the registered building and other construction workers for pension, the board shall issue an electronic special pension identity card along with the pension sanction order to the beneficiary.

If the application is found to be ineligible during the scrutiny of the pension application submitted by the beneficiary, the application will be rejected.
When a pensioner dies, his legal dependents or heirs must submit the death certificate of the pensioner and inform the board to close the bank account.
The amount of pension shall not exceed Rs.3000/- per month (as per Government Notification No. LD 458 LET 2021 Bangalore Dated: 08-08-2022 ) and the beneficiary shall not have received any similar facility under any other scheme of Govt.
The registered beneficiary has to submit the living certificate form XIV –A every year to the sanctioning officer in the board’s software for continuation of pension.
