OPPO hints at new K-series smartphone coming soon in India
OPPO has launched a teaser for a new K-series smartphone in India, suggesting that it will be launched soon. The new teaser is titled “Get Ready for the Next K”, which suggests that a new model will be added to the existing lineup soon. Moreover, Flipkart has already activated a microsite for the device, which suggests an online launch.
For now, OPPO is keeping most of the details under wraps. The brand has not revealed the name, specifications or official launch date of the phone. However, early hints suggest that the phone could be named OPPO K14 or K15 or could come as a refresh model within the K13 series.
The teaser offers a partial look at the phone’s design. The device will continue OPPO’s familiar K-series design with flat edges and a flat back panel. It features a rectangular camera module with rounded corners. The rear setup includes dual cameras and an LED flash. The overall design closely matches the recent K-series models. This suggests a design refresh rather than a major visual change.
OPPO K13 series
The new K-series smartphone is expected to be a follow-up to the OPPO K13 series that was launched in April 2025. The previous series included models with large batteries, fast charging capabilities, and sleek displays, which made them quite popular in the mid-range segment.
OPPO launched the K13 5G at a starting price of Rs. 17,999 and the K13x 5G at a price of Rs. 11,999. Following its previous strategy, the upcoming K-series smartphone will target India’s budget-to-mid-range market by focusing on battery performance and affordability.
