Eligibility: Who Can Apply for a New Ration Card in Karnataka (2025–26)?
As per the official notification from the Food Department, only the following three categories are allowed to apply for a new ration card until further orders:
1. e-Shram Card Holders (Special EShram Category)
Unorganized workers with a valid e-Shram Card (12-digit UAN number) can apply for a new ration card.
