Key features of the scheme:
- Free electric bike (two-wheeler)
Maximum subsidy: ₹1,50,000 (90% BBMP, 10% applicants)
Eligibility: SC/ST/OBC/EWS category, annual income up to ₹1 lakh.
- Free Sewing Machine
Will be provided to women for self-employment purposes.
Applicants should have undergone sewing training. - Subsidy for e-vending vehicles
Manual vending cart: ₹50,000 subsidy
Electric e-vending vehicle: ₹1,50,000 (90% subsidy)
Which vehicles are eligible?
Vendors of vegetables, flowers, ice cream, fruits, juice, panipuri, fast food, clothes.
Required documents:
- Residential proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID)
- Age and annual income certificate
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
- Bank passbook copy
- Passport size photo (2 Nos.)
- Documents related to third gender
- Application procedure:
- Online: Download the application form from the official website of BBMP.
- Offline: Visit BBMP office, apply with documents.
